A leading Boston-based investment management firm is seeking a Legal Assistant.
Responsibilities:
· Create, update and maintain minute books for corporate entities; prepare board consents
· Manage entity lifecycles, including creation and termination of entities, file state and foreign annual reports, and maintain electronic and hard copy entity filings
· Respond to requests for corporate information; update and maintain organizational charts
· Assist with copyright and trademark matters
· Maintain various company databases, contacts and files
· Track, log and properly store various types of agreements, including confidentiality agreements, engagement letters and contracts
Qualifications/Experience:
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 1-3+ years professional experience in an administrative support role.
· Financial industry or law practice experience preferred
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
· Intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Excellent and clear communication skills, both written and oral
